The Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We use leading technologies and encryption software where necessary to safeguard your data, and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it. We do not pass on your details to any third party or government department unless you give us permission to do so or we have a legal obligation to do so.
What information do we collect?
We collect three kinds of information from visitors to the Good Life Deals App:
- Form completions
- Platform feedback
- Usage information, from cookies and log files
In most cases we will collect simple contact details and other associated information (for example details of a deal to be placed within the app).
This information is stored securely. We do not use this information to trace your identity and do not pass it on to any third party or government department.
You can send us your feedback by comments and questions to the Webmaster or service contacts, sent by e-mail, phone or post.
If you send an e-mail or letter to the Webmaster or call our service contacts, asking for information, we may need to contact other government departments to find that information. If your question is technical, we may need to pass it to our technology supplier. We do not pass on any of your personal information when dealing with your enquiry, unless you have given us permission to do so.
This site contains links to external websites, both those of government departments and of other organisations. South Staffordshire Council accepts no responsibility for the content of these sites.
We do not pass on any personal information you have given us to any other site.
